FR- Suite au concours organisé sur le blog, j'ai moi aussi reçu quelques pelotes à tester. J'ai voulu faire dans le très classique et ai opté pour un pull tout simple blanc. On m'a également offert des pelotes de mélange mohair, de mérinos français, et du fil de lurex.
Je dois avouer que c'est la première fois que je m'attaque à un modèle Bergère de France avec des fils Bergère de France.
Point positif : avec le magazine contenant les explications, on a aussi droit à un catalogue d'échantillons. C'est excessivement utile pour commander sur internet par exemple et pouvoir tout de même toucher les fils.
En ce qui concerne mon modèle, je n'avais pas fait attention à la qualité de la laine et je suis légèrement déçue : 50% laine peignée et 50% acrylique mais franchement on a l'impression de toucher uniquement de l'acrylique, pas des plus agréables au porter donc...
EN- Following the give away on the blog, I received a few balls of yarn to try as well. I wanted something really simple and classic and I picked this white sweater. I've also been offered mohair, merinos and some lurex thread.
I have to admit this is the first time I used Bergere de France pattern and yarn. The thing I really enjoyed is the catalogue you get along the magazine with yarn samples so you can easily order online knowing exactly what you'll get.
Regarding my pattern, I didn't pay attention to the yarn quality and I am a tat disappointed: 50% worsted wool and 50% acrylic but honestly you mostly feel acrylic and that's not one of the nicest to wear...
Modèle pour débutant donc tout va bien, j'ai simplement fait quelques changements pour les finitions : les patrons français s'obstinent à faire faire une bande d'encolure pour la coudre ensuite, alors qu'on déteste toutes la couture du tricot, non? Donc évidemment j'ai relevé des mailles le long de l'encolure et j'ai rabattu au moyen de la technique élastique - étant donné que c'est un ras du cou c'est plus prudent!
The pattern was for beginners (only garter stitch) and I've only made a few changes to finish properly: french explanations keep on asking to knit a collar and then sew it, even though we all hate sewing together knitted pieces, don't we? Obviously I picked up stitches along the neck and then used a stretchy technique to bind off.
Bon alors, question qui peut en tarauder plus d'une : comment on porte un tricot de ce genre sans faire bonhomme Michelin?
